We are looking for one Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams, and applying creative problem-solving skills to develop and execute creative strategies that meet project goals.

Our illustration service is being used by the top scientific institutions and pharmaceutical leaders to communicate game-changing findings over ten countries around the world. Our mission is to improve scientific communication through better, lower the bar of learning highly-complex scientific concept, and raise medical and scientific literacy to help everyday people make better healthcare decisions globally.
Primary Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player but also a self-starter. We’re looking for a candidate who is interested in project management, communication, and business development in a crossroad of creative and healthcare. The Project Manager must be highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with setting and meeting deadlines, and a great communicator working with a remote team.
- Manage the creative process from idea to delivery through day-to-day communication with the creative team
- Effectively formulate, communicate, and execute creative strategies that meet project goals
- Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Research, troubleshoot, and follow through to a prompt solution any production questions or problems
- Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on product and capabilities of the agency to set expectations with the business development team.
- Regularly utilize and comply with company policy regarding Project Management Software, documenting interactions with the client and the production team.
Skills and Interests for success:
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Expertise in project management skills applied to creative services, including illustrations and animations
- Experience in the medical, healthcare, or biotech industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Communications, Business, or related field is a plus
- Work in an ever-changing creative environment, that presents exciting challenges and rewards initiative and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Japanese speaking, written and verbal skills are a plus
- Strong technical, analytic, and problem-solving skills
