We are looking for one Medical Illustration Intern to join our team for the Spring semester 2025. The Medical Illustrator Intern will help in two areas of our operation: marketing and production. The intern will develop 2D and 3D marketing materials, set up and manage our platforms, play a part in creating journal figures and infographics, as well as provide feedback to our production process to improve its efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, extensive experience using design tools, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva, as well as a good understanding in molecular biology. We’re looking for a candidate who is interested in marketing, academic and pharmaceutical subject matters, and freelancing in the future. The Medical Illustrator Intern must be highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with meeting deadlines, and a great communicator working with a remote team.
- Developing branded and unbranded visuals, design, science figures, infographics, website images to be delivered to the client
- Write articles incorporating medical illustration as part of our marketing effort.
- Create original 2D and 3D contents to be showcased in our socialmedia platform.
- Organizing our content library and help set up a consistent posting system on multiple platforms.
- Handle social media engagement.
- Working closely and collaboratively with other team members and leadership to help meet and exceed expected quality of deliverables.
- Communicating closely within team and participating in meetings and reviews.
- Attend client meetings and leave data and information internally on shared documents.
- Organizing our drive and help set up a system to store and utilize information for future use.
- Regularly utilize and comply with company policy regarding corporate electronic account management system (CRM), documenting interactions with customers, calendar of appointments and tracking of opportunities
- Participate in strategic market analysis with the team and continue to define potential opportunities to maximize revenue
- Researching and learning the scientific concept, MoA (mechanism of action) and MoD (mechanism of disease) processes.
- A strong candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, pragmatic, diplomatic, and focused on maintaining positive working relationships
Skills and Interests for success:
- Extensive experience using design software, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and Canva.
- A strong business mindset and interest in being part of growth at our Agency.
- Interest in marketing as well as experience running and growing social media presence.
- Experience in creating projects using 3D software especially Cinema 4D is a plus.
- Extremely organized and strong at setting up systems.
- Capturing and cataloging accurate information and action items during meetings.
- Extremely high work ethics and commitment to meet the quality of work and deadline
- Experience using digital communication skills such as toggl track, notion, Slack, Office
- Comfortable with self-managing and juggling multiple project.
- Attention to detail to achieve accurate and realistic medical illustrations.
- Willingness to learn new skills and knowledge on science, revenue generation, and creative space.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of healthy critiquing and openness to feedback.
- A strong interest in expressing empathy.
- Interest and understanding of molecular biology.
